   Potential Graduate Students:

Students wishing to pursue a master's degree with Dr. Atkinson should have ample math, biology and chemistry in their background, and be interested in ecosystem scale environmental issues.

Students wishing to pursue a doctoral degree with Dr. Atkinson should have, in addition to the areas listed above, documented experience in the use of remote sensing and geographic information system analysis.
