How do I calculate my grade?
You will
receive a total of 5 tests during the semester. One of these exams,
EXCLUDING THE FINAL, is dropped. The
test score you get on the remaining 3 exams, plus the final will be divided by
4 to give you your class score.
Example:
Test 1 =
90, Test 2 = 90, Test 3 = 88, Test 4 = 90, Test 5 = 90
Attendance = signed the sheet 4 times
(2 points each time, for a total of 8 points)
Drop the
lowest test grade (in this case, test 3)
Add the three
tests and the final (in this case, sum = 360)
Add
the attendance points (in this case, 360 + 6 = 368)
Divide
by 4 (368/4 = 92.0)
92.0 is
your average, so you get an A in the class (congratulations)
